Welcome to Gretchen Reeder Elementary School, home of the Roadrunners! I'm excited to welcome new and returning students and families this year. I'm so proud to lead at Reeder. Originally from Dallas, Texas, I've spent almost 30 years in education. For a large portion of that, I enjoyed teaching, coaching, and being a summer camp counselor. Now, after 15 years in Nebraska as a school administrator, I am officially a midwesterner. My husband and I are raising three children here and love calling Nebraska home.
Our goal at Reeder is for students to love coming to school each day. This high level of engagement for our students and our staff supports student achievement and makes Reeder one of Millard's top elementary schools!
Every year, our teachers work to make their classrooms a fun and welcoming place for students to learn. Our support staff is second to none, keeping our building clean and safe, supporting both teachers and students in the classroom, on the playground and in the lunchroom! Our PTO works tirelessly to plan events for families like, Turkey Bingo, Classroom Parties, the Spring Festival and more!
